How time flies

Wow, just realized that November 2011 marks ten years since the first recordings I made under the name Private Eleanor… and five years since we traveled to Silver Sonya/Inner Ear in Arlington to record our final album, Sweethearting. In many ways it doesn’t seem nearly so long ago, and in others it seems longer.

PE albums available in futuristic "digital" format

All four official Private Eleanor full-length albums are now available digitally at our new online store. They’re available on a pay-what-you-want basis for various high-quality files (high-bitrate mp3s, AACs, or lossless formats, if you’re into that kinda thing). Anything you choose to pay goes directly to the band!

This is the first time that our first three records (Deciduous, My Pious Friends and Drunken Companions, and No Straight Lines) have been available in digital form — and it’s the first time in over 5 years that the out-of-print Deciduous has been available in ANY form!

For the old-fashioned listener (don’t be ashamed; I count myself among you), CDs are also still available, while supplies last, of Sweethearting, No Straight Lines, and My Pious Friends, for only $5! Sweethearting has a pretty nice fancy foldout poster.
